UNPAID BILLS? NO WORRIES: LAURA RICHARDSON’S PERFECT FOR CONGRESS

Started by districtweekly · 11 months ago

Ask anybody who really knows her, and they’ll tell you Laura Richardson always wanted to be exactly where she is right now. No, not surrounded by her history of house foreclosures and unpaid bills and dog-ate-my-homework excuses for government regulators ... Continue reading »

  • Laura Richardson did not rise to the top of the sales department as the article
    claims.
The fact that Richardson is no longer at Xerox is telling.Xerox was noted for
bending over backwards to showcase black females. She had neither the
aptitude or intelligence for sales. She was assigned to a customer support position. Her tenure was pedestrian and unremarkable.
If one had a question on a product they already purchased-then-she would
    interface with the customer.
Most within Xerox that came in contact with her-could not stand her.
  • Thank you for your input,Mr. Wilson. As you might expect, companies do not share this kind of information and I relied on others for it. I appreciate your perspective. If you'd like to contact me with more, my e-mail address is dave@thedistrictweekly.com
  • Oh, and I realize I just made a terrible assumption--calling you Mr. Wilson. Better to have said j.wilson, as you signed it.
  • Did anyone else see the coverage of Representative Laura Richard's financial problems earlier tonight CNN? It was part of Anderson Cooper's AC360 segment. Laura is starting to talk to the media, she just isn't saying anything.
  • Dave - Just a minor correction. The article reversed Laura's educational credentials. However, had Laura been a top flight sales executive at Xerox, I doubt she would be experiencing her current financial dilemnas. Also, no one has seemed to ask her two very poignant questions: 1) Why did she have to purchase an expensive home in Sacramento when many Assemblymember rent? 2) What happened to the $28,000 Assemblymember housing stipend?
  • The Black people came out and were able to elect Laura. The Republicans stayed at home. She was there and ready. So much happens in Long Beach with people not paying attention, or things are done in secret. The main electorate of the city is asleep and there are many that like that just fine.

People who ignore politics are going to like it a lot less when there are none.
