CITY TARGETS MARIJUANA DISPENSARY FOR VIOLATING ITS OWN BUSINESS LICENSE
Thank you for such a wonderful article. The Cal Heights Neighborhood Association board was so hopeful that the Bouma's would find a way to purchase this house, and we're so glad they did. Our fears of a McMansion or a Tuscan remodel were relieved.
We knew first hand their love of old things, as their previous effort shined on one our home tours a few years back. Their "new" old house is a gem, one that the Bouma's, Cal Heights and our city can be proud of. And we are proud of them and their exhausting effort to make this house a lovely home for their children to grow up in and for our residents to admire.
Thank you again,
John Royce, President, California Heights Historic District Neighborhood Association
We'd like to include more homes like the Bouma's in our magazine. Please let your neighbors know we'd appreciate them opening their doors to us. Maybe even the homes that have been on the neighborhood tour. And, may we include the dates of the home tours? Let us know!
Sorry for the delay. I was vacationing in New Zealand.
Yes, of course. I'll spread the word, and I'll be glad to send you the Annual Home Tour info when we have the date confirmed. As always, it will be in October.
Theo should have another remarkable Cal Heights home coming up soon. I gave him two homes during our initial contact, including the Bouma's, and I know he said he plans to do a spot on the other as well - a beautiful Tudor that is absolutely charming and expertly restored.
Please feel free to contact me directly in the future, or you can always use the website at www.calheights.org to get a message to me.
