I voted for the first time and finally felt the gloom lift that had hovered since the day JFK was shot and childhood beliefs in fairness ended. But, getting up the next day it crashed back in again when the first thing we heard was that another Kennedy had been shot.<br><br>I hope the idealism that is powering the Obama bandwagon continues and does take the country back to a positive place.
