My family is from Mississippi and Florida. (Talk about assuming things).

I don't think rude is normal, my mom wouldn't allow that.

And I wasn't bashing Huell. But Huell interviewing Einstein would be funny. And I don't thnk Huell would fully understand it. Neither would I.

As for actually typing "Not" as a retort---very good, very clever, very up-to-the-minute turn of phrase. Your rhetorical skills are quite "Fox and Friends"-worthy.

And the whole thing is really about Dana Rohrabacher on a friggin' Science Committee. If you want to get outraged about something, read that article.

Re: READER COMMENT ROUNDUP | The District Weekly

Actually, I did read the whole quote. Do you always take predictable pot shots at people you "like"? Huell bashing comes from bigotry against Southeners, and young male attempts to make the world think being rude is normal (i.e. polite, respectful masculinity is too much of a threat. It means the mooks might have to clean up their respective acts.)

But, hey, it's all OK if you say it's a joke, right?

Not.

What you joke about is who you are.

(And, then there's that tendency to assume everyone online is a guy...)

H. Didja real the whole quote? Didja read where I mentioned that I really like Huell? Didja? I even got his autograph once when I was in Palm Springs.

Do you mean to tell me you didn't read the whole quote? Wow! C'mon over here and get a shot of this! A guy who didn't read the whole quote!

Re: READER COMMENT ROUNDUP | The District Weekly

Thinking Huell Howser is anything but brilliant is only one notch higher on the pathetic scale than quoting South Park dialog. Last I heard, U.S. senators don't usually hire dumb people to be on their staff. And, I don't know many other people who've earned the respect of most of the people in several states, and been able to interview people in several countries ranging from presidents to Cuban factory workers, about everything from kelp to Trident missiles. And, a little hunch tells me HH Productions is worth more now than you'll ever pocket in in your entire life.

Go turn on PBS and watch a little more closely this time, kay?

H.
