    Pabst, what hath thou wrought?

Joe Jost's is not a bar nor is it a saloon. A victorious incumbent school board member would never set a bad example for Long Beach's schoolchildren by having his victory party in a bar or saloon.
As of the day before the school board election it became known as a hot dog restaurant-Long Beach's oldest!

The worst part is that they're replacing it with Busch! That's hardly passes for beer, let alone an adequate substitue for the Blue Ribbon.

Well - there went the COLDEST Pabst in town...the only option now might be to get the WARMEST Pabst in town...at the Pike...

I'm producing a T-shirt with a beer pouring over the lip of a schooner to resemble the Nike swoosh with the slogan, "Jost do it."

Back reaads--in Phenix American got milk? font--"got sot?"

Just a note that freezing cold PBR can still be had at Curley's in Signal Hill. Little known secret, but Curley's beer beats Joe's (which is my favorite bar so forgive me) in the coldness factor..

whats curleys like? i always wonder driving past.

It's awesome - been there forever. The thing is, like Joe's, it has the Blizzard beer system which is what makes their beer so cold. However, unlike Joe's, Curley's is that busy (at least when I go there) which means the beer gets poured less and manages to stay even colder than Joe's. They have any beers on tap (including PBR) and the food is solid (for what it is). Check it out sometime.

*Same owner also owns Thirsty Isle in LBC (another good man bar)
