  • Suja Lowenthal: "it's unfortunate that they weren't able to stick to the original plan. But this incident was pretty significant. That's a big violation."

Suja Lowenthal is a hypocritical joke. What about her sticking to whatever plan for which her foolish boosters voted her into office? And how about her recent "significant incidents" and "big violations."

Did anyone happen to spot her at the party too?
  • I heard Suja wasn't invited. That's probably why she's pissed off at them.
  • Why wasn't The Basement ever like that when I visited? Perhaps it's worth taking another look, cause it sounds like the venue now fu**ing ROCKS!

    you guys are everywhere !!
  • We love the Basement Lounge! Where else can my wife and I go to pick up other sexy couples to have fun with? Before the swingers took over, this was just another hollywood-wanna-be club that sucked.
  • "...upscale, 30- to 40- something patron jazz club.." Yeah they should have made it that instead of the ultra ghetto place it turned into. Yelling, screaming, cop cars. Trashy people wanting to be upscale.

Jean-Louis de Bien should know that half the complaints came from the building his company owns. So he doesn't want it out, yet wants his tenants to suffer. Lousy.

Good riddance I say. Let's make the arts district the arts district again. Not, "let me throw on my baggy stripped shirt and go start fights and then hope into my tacky white hummer limo."
  • ARE THERE ANY UPDATES ON THIS STORY? WHAT OTHER BUSINESSES ARE THESE GUYS ASSOICIATED WITH?
  • Are these guys associated with "Club Ice" at 49 Pine?
