Wood, and I appreciate your attention to detail. I definitely should have been more careful with the construction of that sentence. I did not mean to write that John Morris was the first person ever to suggest redirecting the river -- I meant that he was the guy who ignited the current flurry of conversation on the subject. But I certainly gave the wrong impression, and I promise to try even harder to make sure I write exactly what I mean.
