It's the "Lions for Lambs" of its year, I think--with slightly more sex and a lot less Robert Redford (thank God!).
Both films are dreadful.
You know, 28 years ago, Redford directed the Oscar-winning "Ordinary People," which I just saw for the first time recently and it was great. And sad.
And today we have "Lions for Lambs" and "Blood Diamond."
At least we can take solace in knowing that everyone on-camera got paid much more than most of us do. That's nice.
