I was one of the first musicians to play the Cellar starting in early 1959 when Johnny Carroll and I were the only regular musicians for several months. We had sit-ins but we were the regular entertainers. I worked and lived at the Cellar for the first two years back when it was a wild party place before it became a blues club. I am possibly the only one still alive that was there then. If anyone is interested my contact info is below.
