Alexander should impose a student fee regardless of bringing back football or not. It would help all sports.

Title IX is horrible and has done more harm than good.

I hope football comes back via a $20M donation from alum Steven Speilberg. (sp?)

I played for G. Allen at LBSU and was on the team from 87-91. The season with Allen was amazing and one I will always remember. I am now a high school coach and I often use the lessons I learned that year to guide my team. I would love to see FB return to LB.

I Can still remember the sheer excitement of the 1990 Football season.The buzz around the the city and campus was really amazing.Coach Allen brought a big time atmosphere to a small time program.The home games were truly amazing and the daily articles about the rebirth of the program were just as good!!!!! The football program and the pride of being associated with Long Beach State was on a major upswing.I will forever remember experiencing that year.It really was AMAZING!!!!! It could happen again.

I think Long Beach State needs to have its football team back. If Dr. Alexander can reverse the referendum laid before the students, I think we will be on our way.
